Bread. Of Life?

So many people are switching to gluten free diets. What is this big push towards gluten-free eating, and why are so many people getting sensitivities to foods they used to be able to eat? One idea may sound kind of conspiratorial; but it may not be so far-fetched. GMOs could be causing our gluten-sensitivities. I already have written about GM corn and how it is pervasive in almost everything we eat - not just obvious corn products like tortillas, corn chips, breakfast cereals - but anything that has high fructose corn syrup or maltodextrin made from corn.

For gluten-free alternatives, there are some great gluten-free breads and one of my favorite brands is Food For Life. Be careful, because some of their breads contain Agave as sweetener (not good for you), but most of their products are really good and healthy and taste great.
